MAJ GEN RAJIV VERMA ADG (B)
NATIONAL CADET CORPS
Maj Gen Rajiv Verma was commissioned into the Corps of Artillery on 15 Dec 1976. The officer is an aviator and has approx 1000 hrs of helicopter flying to his credit. He has done Long Gunnery Staff Course and is an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He has attended Senior Command and Long Defence Management Courses. The officer had instructional tenure at School of Arty and Senior Command Wing, Army War College Mhow.

The officer has held the appointment of BM of an Inf Bde, Asst Military Secy (AMS) in MS Branch, Army HQ, Colonel Administration of Mtn Div in high altitude area, Dir Army Aviation, Army Aviation Directorate and Director Resettlement, Central Zone. The offr has been awarded COAS Commendation Card and GOC-in-C Southern Comd Commendation Card for his professional acumen and dedication to duty.

The officer has commanded 228 Med Regt and 17 Mtn Arty Bde. Prior to his assuming the appointment of ADG(B) DGNCC on 01 Jan 11,Flag officer was ADG(UP) Dte.

The General Officer is married to Mrs Shanoo Verma and has one daughter Ratika.
